This role is crucial for managing the operations and effectiveness of the sprinkler service division, ensuring seamless service from initial sales through to execution and ongoing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs the daily activities of the sprinkler service team.
  • Conducts timely and constructive performance assessments.
  • Oversee the installation or enhancement of sprinkler systems in both commercial and residential properties.
  • Diagnose and repair existing sprinkler systems.
  • Carry out inspections to confirm compliance with safety codes.
  • Generate comprehensive inspection reports, noting any discrepancies.
  • Communicate work progress accurately and promptly.
  • Safeguard and maintain company tools and equipment.
  • Engage with building engineers and property managers upon arrival and at the end of the workday.
  • Ensure all work is verified before integration into the building's sprinkler system, making repairs as necessary.
  • Maintain the service vehicle and equipment, submitting repair requests as needed.
  • Operate warehouse machinery safely, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Follow company safety procedures diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Respond to urgent service requests.
  • Keep a tidy and secure work environment.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • NICET certification and familiarity with NFPA standards (including 70 and 72).
  • High School Diploma or Technical school certification is preferred.
  • Experience with both commercial and residential systems is essential.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for teamwork and independent work.
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
  • Knowledge of relevant principles, practices, codes, and regulations.
  • Competence in reviewing official documents for accuracy.
  • Ability to identify and report deviations through inspections.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and explaining applicable laws and codes.
  • Strong record-keeping and reporting skills.
  • Ability to follow both oral and written instructions.
  • Capability to use or repair light equipment and tools.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Comply with the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands for various tasks, with occasional lifting of heavy objects.
  • The role demands physical abilities such as balancing, climbing, and visual acuity.
