About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP of Strategy & Business Operations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for building and managing financial forecasts, driving annual and quarterly planning, allocating resources efficiently, and partnering across the team to spearhead strategic initiatives that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an integrated business planning process across all functions, ensuring seamless alignment and coordination.
  • Evolve financial forecasting to include annual budgeting and long-range planning, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Spearhead strategic initiatives to improve processes and efficiency, driving operational excellence and cost savings.
  • Establish and maintain SOPs for business operations, ensuring systems and processes run smoothly to achieve quality output and uniformity of performance.
  • Oversee accounting and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with external counsel to ensure compliance with state, federal, and international laws, mitigating risk and ensuring a safe and mindful operating environment.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to identify, advance, and support cross-company strategic programs that drive market position and operating effectiveness.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in strategy & operations, private equity investment banking, venture capital, or management consulting.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and developing strategic initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across the organization.
  • High level of organization, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and professional maturity.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Expert proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel.
