About the Role

The Accounting Manager at ASQ will be a key member of our finance team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our General Ledger Accounting and Financial Reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of financial accounting processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and maintain accounting processes, including journal entries, general ledger, account reconciliations, and financial close processes.
  • Manage and develop a team of financial accounting staff, providing coaching and training to ensure their growth and success.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Controller to drive efficiency, process documentation, and process improvements throughout the accounting function.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ASQ policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year of people management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
