Job Title: Commercial Insurance Risk and Compliance Lead Associate

Fannie Mae is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insurance Risk and Compliance Lead Associate to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in assessing and identifying potential insurance risks that may threaten the reputation, safety, security, and/or the financial success of Fannie Mae.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to apply your extensive knowledge of insurance principles to minimize insurance-related risks.
  • Develop and manage insurance requirements for multifamily properties and solve complex insurance-related problems.
  • Apply technical understanding of insurance principles, underwriting practices, and laws to ensure compliance.
  • Lead projects as needed and mentor and coach less experienced team members.
Requirements:
  • 4 years of relevant experience in insurance risk management or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Insurance industry designations or Property & Casualty License a plus.
  • Knowledge of mortgage finance industry (GSE, Lender, Servicer).
  • Leader and collaborator with excellent communication skills.
