Pulmonary Hypertension Registered Nurse Coordinator

University Physicians Association is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Registered Nurse Coordinator to join our team in the Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for coordinating outpatient processes, developing and implementing protocols, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate outpatient PH Clinic processes, including patient scheduling and follow-up appointments
  • Develop and implement PH protocols to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Coordinate prescription management and patient transition from inpatient to outpatient
  • Provide nursing and staff education on Pulmonary Hypertension and related topics
  • Represent the PH Clinic at national and local meetings and committees
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • At least six months of experience in a similar clinical setting
  • Minimum associate-level RN degree
  • Knowledge and ability to perform basic clinical skills, including phlebotomy, injections, and IV therapy
  • Ability to adjust work pace to facilitate clinic flow and work effectively with physician(s), patients, staff, and the public
