Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough nursing histories and initiate patient education to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Evaluate patient care outcomes and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal results.
  • Problem-solve and coordinate unit/patient care assignments with supervision.
  • Provide guidance and support to new employees and students to ensure a smooth transition into the unit.
  • Participate in unit-based committees to drive quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise and mentor LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs, and sitters to ensure exceptional patient care.
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and safety standards to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Complete required education assignments annually and participate in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
Qualifications

We require a new graduate with a Tennessee State RN license and CPR certification. New graduates within their first year of orientation are encouraged to apply.
