Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Capri Communities. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide critical support to our Executive Director, ensuring the smooth operation of our property management functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Maintain accurate records of occupancy, revenue, expenses, and budgets. Collaborate with the Executive Director to optimize revenue and adhere to budgeted cost parameters.
  • Marketing and Leasing: Participate in marketing efforts, apartment tours, and leasing activities to maintain an acceptable occupancy level (95% to 100%). Prepare and complete leases, resident notices, and ensure accurate lease paperwork.
  • Scheduling and Communication: Assist in producing schedules, collecting time cards, and communicating maintenance and housekeeping needs to relevant staff members.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Provide compliance documentation related to building regulations, lease agreements, and governmental requirements. Maintain accurate and compliant resident files, ensuring adherence to fair housing standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Resident Relations: Foster high-quality resident relations by addressing complaints, resolving issues, and promoting a positive living experience. Collaborate with the Executive Director to plan and participate in resident relations activities.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification from a technical school or Associate Degree preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in property management or real estate.
