Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in negotiations with clients and suppliers to establish competitive pricing and secure profitable orders.
  • Expand existing client relationships while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Deliver comprehensive product information, pricing details, and availability to clients.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Proactively identify and implement solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions within the CRM system.
  • Participate in ongoing training and team meetings as necessary.
  • Ensure excellence in all aspects of customer engagement.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience within industrial sectors such as oil & gas, chemical processing, power generation, or wastewater management.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience in instrumentation and control products.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the sales and marketing of temperature, pressure, level, and flow instrumentation, as well as process equipment.
  • 3+ years of experience in strategic account management and development.
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse account base across a wide geographical area.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring new accounts and penetrating new markets.
  • Ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing technical proposals.
  • Strong consultative selling skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management abilities.
  • Proficient written communication and presentation skills.
  • A positive, self-motivated attitude with a tenacious approach to challenges.

Physical Demands:

  • Primarily involves sitting at a desk, in a vehicle, or attending meetings.
  • Occasional lifting of demonstration items or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Work is primarily indoors, with exposure to varying temperatures.
  • Some walking may be required within industrial facilities.
  • Frequent use of computers and telephones is expected.
  • Must be capable of driving for extended periods.

Note: The annual base salary range for this position is provided as a guideline. The final salary offer will be based on various factors including experience, education, and specific skills.
