Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team at J.F. Brennan Company, Inc. in La Crosse, WI. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of marine construction and environmental remediation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, including estimating, bidding, and project administration.
  • Manage project teams, including project superintendents, engineers, and other support staff.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitor and control project costs, schedules, and quality.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Prepare and submit project reports, including progress reports, financial reports, and final project reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marine construction and environmental remediation, with a proven track record of project management success.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct project teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and project management software, including Primavera P6 and MS Project.
