We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team at ASC Engineered Solutions. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and executing product development projects, actively developing new and updated products for the piping industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop project requirements, schedules, and budgets using project management software.
- Drive project tasks and deliverables in accordance with project schedules, ensuring all activities are completed on time and properly.
- Conduct feasibility, cost, risk, optimization, stress, fluids, and thermal analyses to support design decisions.
- Ensure product design and project direction align with company product offerings, latest technology developments, industry requirements, and manufacturing capabilities.
- Resolve existing and new product issues through root-cause analysis, design of experiments, test plan creation, testing, and analysis of operational, test, and research data.
- Maintain design records in accordance with sound design practice and ISO requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with at least three years of product development experience and at least two years of project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively across various functions of the organization.
- Understanding of project management and product development methodologies.
- Proficiency in 3D and 2D CAD (Solidworks preferred), FEA analysis.
- Experience with cloud-based collaboration and project management solutions (e.g., SharePoint, Smartsheet, Jira).
- Background in the design, engineering, or manufacturing of piping-related equipment, including couplings, flanges, fittings, pumps, valves, or pressure vessels.
