We are seeking a Property/Facilities Maintenance Assistant to work closely with the owner of several small businesses/rental units.

This role will include tasks such as property upkeep or scheduling property upkeep, running errands, light cleaning & lawn care. The ideal candidate is honest, trustworthy, and a friendly individual. Someone with exceptional organization, communication skills and a "whatever needs to get done" attitude will excel.

Expected Hours:

Monday through Friday, floating 8-hour shifts will depend on owner's schedule. Start time as early as 7am and end time as late as 6:30pm. Some travel should be expected (not very often).

Immediate Duties & Expectations:
  • Duties include keeping offices/shared spaces organized, light cleaning and lawn care.
  • General maintenance of several properties and/or scheduling maintenance services as needed.
  • Organize, schedule, and communicate necessary maintenance around owner's schedule.
  • Run errands inclusive of grocery shopping, some meal prep may be required.
  • Exercise discretion and thoughtfulness in decision-making.
  • Able to communicate effectively by phone and email.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Current license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive a pickup truck is a plus.
  • Computer skills - Must be familiar with Outlook, Word, Xcel, Google Drive, Outlook calendar is a plus.
  • Must be able to take initiative and work independently.
  • Good problem-solving skills and positive, team-oriented attitude.
Potential Growth Opportunities:
  • Administrative assistant duties such as paying bills, filing expenses, and reconciling multiple business credit card accounts.
  • Tracking vehicle maintenance, insurance cards, and registering vehicles when needed.
