Position Overview

Ultra Clean Technology Systems & Svc Inc is at the forefront of the semiconductor industry, impacting every aspect of modern technology. We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler II to contribute to our dynamic team in a pivotal role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in various tasks that may vary based on workload, ensuring flexibility and adaptability across departments.
  • Achieve proficiency in all Material Handler I tasks within a designated timeframe.
  • Participate in comprehensive job training to enhance skill sets related to material handling.
  • Collaborate with Material Handler III for guidance in specialized functions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to perform all duties associated with Material Handler I.
  • Basic proficiency in Excel for data entry and management.
  • Effective organization and maintenance of files.
  • Ability to create new locations within the ERP system.
  • Experience in processing and printing barcode labels.
  • Maintain data accuracy in Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • Capable of completing complex forms in ERP systems.
  • Utilize various tools to investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Employ critical thinking to resolve inventory issues.
  • Optimize inventory storage for efficiency.
  • Familiarity with carrier software and preparation of Bills of Lading (BOL).
  • Safe operation of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and scales.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions including twisting and bending.

Educational and Certification Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
  • Forklift certification as necessary.
  • Valid driver's license as required.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with computer and ERP systems, with a preference for bar-coded software.
  • Two years of experience in a material distribution environment is preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily conducted in a standard office setting.

  • Capability to lift up to 25 lbs independently.

  • Capacity to sit for extended periods.
  • Visual acuity to perform assigned tasks.

Environmental Considerations:

  • Exposure to hazards such as electrical currents, moving mechanical parts, and chemicals.
  • Frequent interruptions may occur.
  • Personal protective equipment may be required.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional out-of-town travel may be necessary for training and meetings.
