About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Director to join our team at First Environment, Inc. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing campaigns to support our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Marketing Campaigns: Create and execute marketing strategies to promote our services and expertise in the environmental consulting and engineering industry.
  • Manage Corporate Brand: Oversee the development and implementation of our corporate brand, including the creation of marketing materials, website content, and social media initiatives.
  • Lead Content Development: Direct the development of thought leadership content, including blog posts, whitepapers, and case studies, to establish our company as a thought leader in the industry.
  • Collaborate with Technical Team: Work closely with our technical team to develop and maintain project case studies, past performance narratives, and other content to showcase our expertise.
  • Maintain Internal Communications: Develop and implement an internal communications program to facilitate information sharing within the company and keep our team informed about marketing efforts.
  • Oversee Digital Media: Manage our digital media and social media initiatives, including website updates, blog posts, video content, and educational materials.
  • Identify Key Media Outlets: Research and identify key media outlets and maintain a list of editorial contacts and publications to secure media coverage.
  • Coordinate Award Submissions: Oversee the coordination of award program submissions to recognize our company's achievements and expertise.
  • Plan Special Events: Coordinate the planning and execution of special events, including trade shows and conferences, to promote our services and expertise.
  • Manage Quality Control: Ensure the quality control of all marketing materials and communications to maintain our company's reputation and brand.
  • Lead Marketing Vendors: Direct the selection and implementation of marketing vendors and consultants to support our communications initiatives.
  • Conduct Marketing Workshops: Conduct marketing communications workshops and training for our team to ensure everyone is aligned with our marketing strategies.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, English, or a related field, and 5+ years of marketing experience in the environmental consulting and engineering industry.
  • Capabilities and Qualifications: Experience developing and implementing strategic marketing communications campaigns, strong understanding of environmental consulting terminology, leadership and managerial skills, expert time-management and organizational skills, and a professional demeanor.
