Los Angeles, California, United States Hadrian Full time

About Us:
Hadrian specializes in creating software-driven, high-precision component manufacturing facilities for leading aerospace firms globally.

We seek individuals who are passionate about enhancing manufacturing processes, empowering our engineers to develop intricate yet refined software, and machinists dedicated to advancing the industry.

Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Engineer plays a crucial role in providing reliable production support and facilitating the expansion of manufacturing operations.

This position is accountable for seamlessly integrating new customer technical requirements into the factory's capabilities, aiding the transition from low-rate to high-volume production, and leading the implementation of new automated production technologies and software upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Support:
Ensure compliance with documentation and customer specifications for quality assurance.
Facilitate the onboarding of new clients, ensuring that the factory's technical capabilities align with their needs.
Assist in prioritizing tasks and managing workflow during peak production times to enhance efficiency.
Oversee problem resolution and management of production defects, driving root cause analysis to improve yield and reduce rework rates.

Scaling Efforts:
Guide the factory's shift from low-rate to high-volume manufacturing, identifying and executing necessary modifications in processes and infrastructure.
Integrate new automated production technologies, collaborating with software engineering to enhance manufacturing-supporting software solutions.

Modify shop floor layout and processes to meet high-volume production demands, such as establishing high-volume cleaning stations and designing workstations for component installation.

Develop production methodologies in less structured areas of our operational framework.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM discipline, along with a minimum of 2 years of engineering experience.
Alternatively, at least 5 years of experience in a high-demand production setting may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Familiarity with machining processes and experience working with stringent tolerances, particularly in aerospace manufacturing.
In-depth understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including software engineering, to improve production capabilities.

Success Factors:

Intelligence:
Ability to discern important signals and prioritize tasks in a variable environment.

Autonomous:
Set focused and practical objectives for individual projects that align with broader business goals.

Fair/Predictable:
Recognize the significance of standardizing personnel and physical processes.

Decisiveness:
Make prompt decisions and take action rather than becoming mired in analysis.

Salary:
$90,000 - $150,000 annually
This role has a target salary range of $90,000 - $150,000 (actual compensation may vary based on experience).

This represents the lowest to highest salary we reasonably believe we would offer for this position at the time of this posting.

Compensation may ultimately be higher or lower than the stated range, and the range may be adjusted in the future.

An employee's salary within the range will depend on various factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and organizational needs.

In addition to salary and equity, we provide: 100% coverage of platinum medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans for employees
