School Health Services Professional

We are seeking a skilled School Health Services Professional to join our team in the Arlington Independent School District. As a Substitute Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing health services to students and promoting a healthy school environment.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in nursing and hold a Bachelor's Degree and current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice nursing in the State of Texas. The salary for this position is estimated to be around $70,000-$90,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement district health services programs to meet the needs of students on assigned campuses.
- Provide direct care using professional assessment skills and established school health protocols.
- Assess student problems, communicate with parents, and ensure appropriate referrals and follow-up as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice nursing in the State of Texas
- Valid CPR certification within the past 2 years
- Valid Vision, Hearing, Acanthosis Nigricans and Spinal Screening certification within the last 5 years
Additional Information:
This is an as-needed position, with variable hours and days worked.
