About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Millwood Hospital, a 134-bed mental health facility providing inpatient and outpatient care. As a key member of our treatment team, you will ensure patient safety and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients ranging in age from preschool through geriatrics
  • Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized patient plans
Qualifications
  • High School Degree or equivalent required; Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
  • Two years of related experience with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license in the applicable state
