About the Role

As a skilled healthcare professional, you will play a vital role in implementing health services programs to meet the needs of students on assigned campuses. This position requires providing direct care to students, assessing their health problems, and ensuring appropriate referrals and follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement district health services program to best meet student needs.
  • Provide direct care using professional assessment skills and established school health protocols.
  • Assess student problems, communicate with parents, and ensure referrals as needed.
  • Notify parents of accidents or illnesses and secure emergency medical care when necessary.
  • Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans and evaluate outcomes of skilled and direct nursing care.

This is a pooled position open year-round, even if no current openings exist.
