Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Technician Assistant to join our team at the Department of Developmental Services. As a Psychiatric Technician Assistant, you will provide critical support to individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities experiencing an acute crisis. Your role will involve providing general behavioral training and psychiatric nursing care to our consumers, as well as participating in recreational activities and cross-training with community home staff or family members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general behavioral training and psychiatric nursing care to consumers
  • Participate in recreational activities with consumers
  • Provide cross-training to community home staff or family members
  • Maintain credentials in required of a Psychiatric Technician Assistant license
  • Attend required trainings
Requirements
  • Valid California Drivers License (CDL)
  • Pass a Drug Screening
  • Clear Background Investigation
  • Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate
