Job Summary:

As a Business Office Manager - LPN for Complete Home Care of the Palm Beaches, you will play a vital role in managing the day-to-day operations of our home health team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide clerical support to the Clinical Manager, ensuring the smooth flow of patient information and team processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor assigned reports and follow up on unresolved discrepancies.
  • Distribute and/or provide communications to appropriate staff as directed.
  • Maintain assigned tracking systems with accurate/up-to-date information.
  • Receive, address, triage, and relay messages for assigned Team field staff (incoming faxes including physician orders, lab results, etc.).
  • Participate in quality management activities as assigned.
  • Facilitate maintaining, updating, and communicating visit schedules for Team field staff.
  • Assist with pre-bill audit activities as assigned.
  • Assist with weekend patient scheduling and on-call coverage.
  • Support the Agency's customer service reputation by promoting and maintaining a responsive, knowledgeable, and accessible approach to all customer contacts.

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • LPN
  • Minimum of 2 years' office experience required in home healthcare environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to be flexible and work well with others.
  • Ability to recognize priorities in organization of workflow, evaluate workflows and plan and implement needed changes.
  • Self-directed and motivated.
  • Ability to interact positively and helpfully with Agency and Support Center personnel and contracting entities.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.

Environmental/Working Conditions:

  • Sitting, standing, and walking are required.
  • Ability to always handle stressful situations in a calm and courteous manner.
  • Works under a variety of conditions in facilities and offices.
  • Available to agency personnel in person or by telephone during the Agency operating hours and possibly after hours for emergencies.
  • Some exposure to unpleasant weather.
  • Home base will be at the Company Support Center.
  • Reliable transportation and auto liability insurance.
  • Computer and basic office equipment.
