About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team at H-E-B. As an Assistant Store Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Leader in managing the day-to-day operations of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide primary daytime/mid-shift coverage and manage closing coverage, ensuring seamless store operations.
  • Departmental Oversight: Directly oversee auxiliary departmental functions and services, including the Cash Office, Service Co., Facilities, and Customer Champions.
  • Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service, resolving issues and providing solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Business Operations: Manage store sundry accounts, oversee store wrap and supplies, and handle customer complaints.
  • Financial Analysis: Use financial analysis to evaluate the costs and benefits of ideas and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Education and Training: School of Retail Leadership (SORL) training or proven track record with several years of management experience with VP and HR approval.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, analytical and organizational skills, computer skills, including MS Office and H-E-B Systems.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry 40-60 pounds on a regular basis, stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, squat, reach overhead, and sidestoside throughout shift.
