Position Overview: The University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) is seeking applications for a continuous pool of lecturers who may be appointed to instruct enhancement courses focused on the theme of Social Justice and Community.

Course Offerings: A comprehensive list of available courses and their detailed descriptions can be found in the UCSC Catalog. These courses provide students with the chance to engage in small, seminar-style classes at the collegiate level, aimed at supplementing general education requirements and disciplinary studies.

Interdisciplinary Focus: The enhancement courses are designed to align with College Ten's commitment to Social Justice and Community. Selected applicants will play a vital role in contributing to this theme and may have the opportunity to create or assist in the development of new enhancement courses.

Qualifications: While candidates may have a primary discipline, they should be adept at operating within an interdisciplinary framework and drawing from expertise in various fields, including but not limited to:
- Humanities
- Arts
- Social Sciences
- Life Sciences

Applicants who possess any of the following qualifications are particularly encouraged to submit their applications:
- Proven experience working effectively with a diverse student population
- Knowledge of contemporary theories and research related to social justice and community
- A Master's degree or completion of at least one year in a Ph.D. program
- A minimum of two years of teaching experience at the university level.
