Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Indiana Packers Corporation. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and leading a team of production employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Production Team: Supervise and direct a team of production employees to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet company and customer specifications.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for production employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Utilize problem-solving techniques and decision-making skills to resolve production-related issues and improve processes.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster open communication and collaboration with production employees, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth production operations.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the meat processing industry.
  • Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to work varied shifts and overtime.
