Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Indiana Packers Corporation. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, operating procedures, and working conditions at our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise production employees in a processing environment and ensure established daily production and quality targets are achieved.
  • Utilize skill, experience, and decision-making ability to ensure product meets company, customer, and government specifications.
  • Implement and maintain safety standards throughout the production area.
  • Direct and implement job-related training for all team members.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to coach and guide team members to resolve employee issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Create and foster a high-morale workplace with the highest ethical standards.
  • Manage the completion of production schedules and ensure all proper processing procedures are adhered to.
  • Monitor and make timely improvement actions necessary to meet production quality and quantity goals.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, meat processing preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in extreme hot, cold, wet, humid, and odorous environments.
  • Flexibility to work on a variety of shifts and work extensive overtime, including weekends.
  • Good computer literacy skills and ability to write clear and concise reports.
  • Results-driven and employee-oriented.
  • Commitment to follow safety policies and practices and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Uphold company policies and ethical standards.
