The Opportunity

We are seeking a Clinical Informatics Project Manager to join our team at Mass General Brigham Digital. As a key member of our team, you will analyze, develop, document, and track projects related to Anatomical and Clinical Pathology and Blood Bank for MGB Enterprise Pathology. You will collaborate with site-based and digital teams to develop and coordinate completion of project plans and schedules for Pathology Systems projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow established project management methodologies and provide visibility into project status, risks, dependencies, and timelines
  • Clearly establish roles and responsibilities within the project team
  • Manage project within the approved scope and following scope changes procedures when appropriate
  • Manages and coordinates gathering and synthesis of project requirements and deliverables
  • Supervises project tasks and helps to inform activities between and among MGB Digital and other MGB work groups
  • Leads assigned work groups and facilitates interactions and communication to arrive at solutions for Enterprise Pathology projects
  • Provides coordination and direction to complete the assigned project tasks, produce the required results, track and resolve issues, and meet the relevant MGB project milestones according to the established timeline
  • Develops, owns and executes project plans for multiple teams simultaneously
  • Collaborates with the Clinical Informatics Team, Enterprise Pathology Team, as well as clinicians and operational leaders from across the Mass General Brigham System
  • Addresses project issues and identifies risks and mitigation strategies using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Reports project status to the Clinical Informatics Managers/Director's
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of project management experience
  • Experience with clinical care delivery across health disciplines and the care continuum
  • Experience with clinical content development and maintenance
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent large projects and project teams
  • Experience in meeting management, facilitation and presentation required
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
