Job Title: Mobile Crisis Counselor

At Community Regional Crisis Response, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mobile Crisis Counselor to join our team. As a Mobile Crisis Counselor, you will play a critical role in providing intensive short-term mental health care to individuals experiencing an acute crisis of psychiatric nature.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and provide crisis stabilization services to individuals, families, and groups in need.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address mental health crises.
  • Provide direct counseling, case management, and discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Collaborate with community resources and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document all interactions and services provided in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in a human services field from an accredited institution.
  • At least one year of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, or adults.
  • Current licensure, license eligibility, or QMHP-C and QMHP-A registration from the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
