Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service by engaging with customers using your training and skills.
  • Assist customers in selecting the right products based on their needs.
  • Show a strong commitment to the health and welfare of all animals.
  • Process transactions efficiently to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers through understanding their needs.
  • Support the achievement of sales goals for the Pet Care Center.
  • Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing merchandise display.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance your expertise.
  • Follow established operational guidelines and procedures.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Address customer inquiries and escalate to management when necessary.

Essential Skills:
Utilizing effective selling behaviors is crucial to providing an outstanding customer experience in our Pet Care Locations. Your ability to identify and address customer needs is vital.

Basic Qualifications:
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a team, maintain a professional demeanor, and exhibit a genuine interest in animal care. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in sales, retail, or a related field is advantageous. A solid understanding of pet nutrition and sales techniques is preferred.

Work Environment:
This position primarily involves indoor tasks, although some duties may require brief outdoor activities. The role necessitates physical stamina, including lifting up to 50 lbs and utilizing material handling equipment. Adherence to safety protocols is crucial to prevent injury.
