Key Responsibilities:
- Offer precise guidance on payment methods based on individual loan circumstances.
- Quickly evaluate loan statuses and borrower situations to provide appropriate assistance or referrals.
- Deliver HUD Counseling services.
- Assess borrowers for Home Retention Programs according to loan types.
- Coordinate property inspections and manage property preservation efforts as dictated by servicing guidelines for FHA, FNMA, FHLMC, USDA, and VA.
- Address delinquency through collection initiatives and borrower support programs.
Position Qualifications:
- Preferred experience with loss mitigation programs and loan counseling.
- HUD Counseling Certification must be obtained within six months of employment.
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
- 1-2 years of experience in mortgage servicing and/or collections is necessary.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
- Team collaboration is crucial.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills are required.
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service capabilities are a must.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment is important.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
