Job Summary:

As a Loss Mitigation/Loan Counseling Supervisor at Idaho Housing and Finance Association, you will oversee a team of professionals dedicated to resolving delinquencies through home retention or liquidation. Your expertise in mortgage servicing, RESPA, FDCPA, GLBA, SCRA, and federal and state laws related to foreclosure processes will be instrumental in achieving desired results. You will be responsible for supervising a team, managing performing loan delinquency, roll rates, and counseling/collection efforts, administering coaching and disciplinary action, and assisting in developing and managing dialer campaigns. Additionally, you will handle escalated matters, lead department personnel-related issues, and assist in creating policy and procedure guidelines. If you have a strong background in collections, loss mitigation, and/or HUD counseling, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills, we encourage you to apply for this challenging and rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of Late-Stage Loss Mitigation Counselors
  • Manage performing loan delinquency, roll rates, and counseling/collection efforts
  • Administer coaching and disciplinary action

  • Lead department personnel-related issues
  • Assist in creating policy and procedure guidelines
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of mortgage servicing, RESPA, FDCPA, GLBA, SCRA, and federal and state laws related to foreclosure processes
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in collections, loss mitigation, and/or HUD counseling
  • Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience
  • Strong professional and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced multi-tasking and organizational skills
