About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Neurosurgeon to join our team at Ascension Seton in Austin, Texas. As a Neurosurgeon, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with neurological disorders, performing surgical procedures, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with neurological disorders, including brain and spine conditions.
  • Perform surgical procedures, including craniotomies, spinal fusions, and other neurosurgical interventions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including neurologists, radiologists, and rehabilitation specialists, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participate in academic programs, including medical education and research, to advance the field of neurosurgery.
  • Document patient information and treatment plans in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of a neurosurgery residency program.
  • Board certification in neurosurgery.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Texas.
