About the Role:

ACRT, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Consulting Utility Forester to join our team. As a key member of our vegetation management team, you will be responsible for identifying, inspecting, and evaluating trees and brush along utility lines. Your expertise will be utilized to submit inspection results to clients with recommendations, plan and direct tree clearance crews, and serve as a liaison between clients, tree crews, and client customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of trees and brush along utility lines
  • Submit inspection results to clients with recommendations for vegetation management
  • Plan and direct tree clearance crews to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, tree crews, and client customers to resolve access issues

Requirements:
  • Two-year forestry degree or equivalent OR high school diploma plus two years of UVM experience
  • Vegetation management experience preferred
  • Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working with GIS integrated data collection software/hardware preferred but not required
