About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Business Analyst to join our team at Bank of America. As a key member of our analytics team, you will play a critical role in supporting business decisions by providing actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Extraction and Analysis: Utilize various programming languages, such as SQL, SAS, Python, or Spark/Scala, to extract and analyze data from multiple sources, including relational and non-relational database systems.
  • Data Transformation and Visualization: Apply knowledge of data modeling and data mapping to transform extracted data into meaningful insights and trends, and deliver those insights to leaders through effective data visualization.
  • Business Partnership and Communication: Collaborate with business partners to understand their data requirements, communicate complex data outputs, and deliver the appropriate summary and data required.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Assist with conducting quality comparison checks on analysis output and escalate data inconsistencies, gaps, or issues to leadership.
  • LOB Specific Information: This role will collaborate with Consumer and Small Business Anti-Money Laundering to understand and assess their data, processes, and technology to support strategic data initiatives, remediate deficiencies, and drive business requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise: 5+ years of experience working with multiple databases, data structures, data modeling, and data mapping.
  • Execution Expertise: Ability to drive execution through disciplined oversight, interpret and evaluate client's data requirement needs, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, system analysis, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Lineage Software: Familiarity with lineage software such as Collibra.
  • Project and Issues Management: Experience with project and issues management.
  • Enterprise Architecture: Understanding of enterprise ADS internal architecture designs.
