Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical understanding of commercial/industrial HVAC equipment and the ability to effectively convey technical information to customers.

We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Engineer to join our team at Hoffman & Hoffman Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients by understanding their needs, offering high-level technical support, and selecting the most suitable HVAC equipment for their projects.

Earn a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, as you contribute to the success of our company.

  • Collaborate with H&H sales team to promote the sale of company products and provide sales support.
  • Assess customer requirements and determine system specifications in conjunction with sales engineers.
  • Maintain detailed records and project notes on plan development and selections.
  • Complete take-off and technical selections of HVAC equipment from building plans.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering or 2-4 years of work experience in the industry.
  • Knowledge of commercial/industrial HVAC equipment and experience reading construction plans and engineering specifications is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows OS, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook are required.
  • Strong software skills are essential as all manufacturer's selection software and pricing is software-based.
