Key Responsibilities
- Conduct administrative hearings and manage the flow of proceedings.
- Inform parties of their rights and responsibilities, administer oaths, and evaluate witness testimonies.
- Act as an unbiased adjudicator, taking detailed notes and making rulings on motions presented by the parties.
- Schedule further proceedings and conduct legal research to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Draft and finalize decisions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Facilitate pre-hearing, status, and settlement conferences to promote resolution before formal hearings.
- Prepare written orders and settlement agreements using the designated case management system.
- Participate in ongoing training and meetings to stay updated on procedural and ethical standards.
- Perform additional duties related to the adjudication process, including preparing reports and engaging in legal research.
