Position Overview

This role is pivotal in overseeing the department's activities concerning comprehensive base salary management, which includes advanced compensation modules, short-term incentive plan oversight, and the routine administration of equity programs. The specialist will ensure that compensation practices, policies, and processes are competitive in the market, equitable, and consistently applied throughout the organization.

Work Arrangement
This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage corporate compensation initiatives, including annual bonus calculations, compensation statements, and the merit cycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee effective management of compensation programs.
  • Oversee compensation data and configurations, ensuring data integrity and optimal functionality.
  • Provide coaching and support to compensation team members for consistent application of compensation strategies.
  • Lead compensation initiatives such as job analysis, evaluation, and salary structure assessments to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Develop and maintain reporting and analysis of compensation programs, making recommendations for process improvements.
  • Administer the salary survey process and manage market pay evaluations.
  • Offer expertise to HR partners regarding pay decisions and policy interpretations.
  • Assist in the creation and communication of compensation programs and tools for HR partners.
  • Conduct modeling of various scenarios to support compensation program design.
  • Oversee the administration of the Employee Stock Purchase Plan, ensuring timely transactions.
  • Manage long-term incentive plan activities, including grants and terminations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in compensation management.
  • Experience managing annual compensation cycles and system configurations.
  • Demonstrated people management experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in handling large data sets.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships across various business units.
  • Experience with Workday compensation systems is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience in equity plan administration at a public company is highly preferred.
