At Halifax Health – Medical Center of Port Orange, we are seeking an experienced RN to join our team as a Hospice Education Specialist - Quality Improvement RN. About the Role

This role involves coordinating and conducting orientation programs for new employees, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care. You will work closely with preceptors and mentors to ensure that new staff receive optimal orientation to clinical positions.

You will also be responsible for developing and delivering educational programs that reflect current research and best practices in hospice care. This may include presenting information to different disciplines regarding hospice philosophy and operations, revising orientation programs as needed to address changing conditions, and evaluating staff for competencies relevant to their job responsibilities.

In addition, you will assist in the review of current policies and procedures, making recommendations for revisions as identified through Quality Improvement, safety, and educational activities. Your input will help shape the development of our Clinical Policy and Procedure Manual, ensuring that it remains up-to-date and effective.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
