Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our medical-surgical unit at Halifax Health - Medical Center of Port Orange. As an RN, you will play a vital role in delivering patient-centered care, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient plans.
  • Establish positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and excellence, identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to process enhancements.
  • Participate in education and training initiatives, staying current with industry developments and best practices to enhance professional growth and development.

Requirements:

  • CURRENTLY LICENSED as a RN in the State of Florida.
  • Bachelor degree/diploma/associate degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Certifications as required by individual unit/area.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with patients, patient families, colleagues, physicians, and ancillary department personnel.
  • Personal professional development, accountability, organization, and leadership in the performance of professional nursing practice.
  • Must be customer-service oriented and able to effectively communicate and build relationships with co-workers and key stakeholders at all levels in the organization.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
