Job Summary

Cleaver-Brooks Sales and Service, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Contract Review Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing various contracts and purchase orders to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Review and Analysis: Independently review and interpret contractual provisions of various types of agreements, including Master Agreements, Purchase Orders, Non-Disclosure/Confidentiality Agreements, Vendor Agreements, Subcontractor Agreements, and Leases.
  • Risk Management: Identify contractual terms of concern during the negotiation process, with a focus on maximizing financial and operational performance, reducing company liability, and minimizing risk.
  • Contract Administration: Redline, comment, and provide input for proposed changes to various types of contractual provisions of agreements to meet the company's risk profile, policies, and procedures.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain clear lines of communication with other departments, providing transparency of priorities and clear target dates for deliverables.
  • Contract Management: Organize and maintain contract files, including all amendments, correspondence, and any other relevant documents affecting the life cycle of the contract.
  • Relationship Building: Create and maintain relationships with suppliers and serve as a primary point of contact for matters concerning contracts.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate current processes and capabilities and recommend new processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience: 3-6 years of experience in contract management and/or administration.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and organizational skills, excellent reading and language comprehension, and proficient with Microsoft Office products.
