We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Life Engagement Coach to join our team at New Perspective Senior Living LLC. As a Life Engagement Coach, you will play a vital role in creating an enriching life experience for our residents by coordinating and executing life engagement activities that promote physical fitness, brain fitness, dining experience, and social/spiritual enrichment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and execution of the calendar and personal schedules for assigned neighborhoods.
- Ensure an abundance of supplies and working technology is available to residents.
- Continually invite, encourage, and assist residents in all activities.
- Set up agendas for evening engagement, present plans to evening caregivers, and follow up the next day to ensure plans were executed.
- Assist the team with the monthly budget to provide food, engagement, and educational activities.
- Communicate and interact with residents, families, and team members in a kind, respectful, and effective manner.
- Champion hospitality and deliver excellent customer service to residents, families, visitors, and vendors.
- Ensure an attractive home environment exists at all times, fostering engagement, socialization, and purposeful living.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Ability to work in a team environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make decisions and act in the resident's best interest.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred and a desire to serve and care for seniors.
