Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of Employer Development. This key role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the quality and increase the number of local and national companies that hire our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement employer development strategies to improve the quality and increase the number of local and national companies that hire our students.
  • Manage the Employer Development team and work closely with the Career Center Director to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key administrators, corporate recruiters, alumni, and human resources professionals to discuss hiring needs and opportunities.
  • Identify and track existing and new business development opportunities and develop regular reporting for the Career Center Director and the broader CBCC team.
  • Manage the employer aspects of career events, including career fairs, career exploration conferences, and networking events.
  • Develop and execute a communication strategy to share company insights with students and promote employer engagement opportunities.
Requirements
  • BA/BS degree plus at least eight years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree plus at least six years of relevant experience.
  • Industry experience and/or knowledge of the business marketplace, specifically functions and industries of interest to our students.
  • Experience working in a metric-driven environment and managing a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
