Job Summary
This position involves providing direct group and individual counseling to program clients with substance abuse issues. The successful candidate will work closely with case management staff and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful, you must have:
* Valid CASAC license/credential
* Bachelor's degree in Social Services (strongly preferred), H.S Diploma or GED required
* Three years' experience treating clients with substance abuse history
* Excellent interviewing and clinical assessment skills
* Knowledge of CARES (a plus)
* Proficient Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet, and other software skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills (bi-lingual Spanish preferred)
* Self-starting abilities
* Good negotiation skills
* Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and make judgment calls

Estimated Salary: $62,400 per year
The selected candidate will work in Brooklyn, Monday through Friday, with Thursdays from 11am-7pm and other weekdays from 9am-5pm.
