Job Summary

The Banking Center Manager is a key leadership position responsible for driving business growth and operational excellence at Field & Main Bank. This role oversees the day-to-day retail operations of the banking center, building long-term relationships with customers, and developing and mentoring a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition
  • Oversee the supervision of retail staff, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to maximize their potential
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive business development initiatives and strategic planning
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent with post-secondary education or demonstrated equivalent in work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in retail banking or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems and changing technology
  • Ability to create processes and procedures, lead projects, and communicate results
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates degree in Business or a related field
  • Experience in relationship banking, consumer lending, or business development
  • Knowledge of federal regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act, Community Reinvestment Act, and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act

Work Environment

This role is performed in an open office setting, requiring the ability to concentrate and perform work in an area that will likely result in the interruptions of one's duties. Ability to stand for long periods of time and may be required to lift items weighing up to 25-70 lbs.
