Job Overview

This role may involve periodic overseas deployments.

Collaborates closely with the Shift Supervisor to oversee, manage, and allocate resources for both scheduled and unscheduled organizational-level maintenance in accordance with relevant Air Force guidelines on MQ-9 unmanned aerial vehicles and related systems.

Leads and supports the examination, diagnostics, and functionality of communication systems, including Ground Control Stations and Ground Data Terminals, as well as standard radio frequencies, line-of-sight, beyond line-of-sight, wideband, ground-based satellite, peripheral computing/communication, and cryptographic devices.

Coordinates satellite communication usage and manages link activation with military and civilian entities. Assembles, connects, secures, and integrates components such as transmitters, power sources, and antenna systems. Monitors and resolves transmit/receive signal conflicts to ensure peak performance and mitigate interference with other satellite users. Implements network solutions for real-time video transmission through Remote Split Operations architecture.

Ensures compliance with technical documentation and management protocols; verifies that aircraft and equipment records and Maintenance Information System documentation are thorough, precise, and properly completed.

Adheres to established CANN procedures and updates CANN action status for assigned aircraft. Understands aircraft status and inventory reporting as outlined in Air Force Instructions and applicable supplements. Provides timely aircraft status updates to the Shift Supervisor. Maintains strict adherence to environmental regulations and relevant environmental protection guidelines. Ensures compliance with applicable safety regulations, standards, and industrial safety documentation. Promotes a workplace culture focused on zero accidents and injuries, including no lost time incidents.

Essential Qualifications

Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance. A minimum of four (4) years of experience in aircraft maintenance is required. Preferred one (1) year of experience with MQ-1 and/or MQ-9 aircraft.

Preferred Skills

At least one (1) year of experience with MQ-1 and/or MQ-9 aircraft is desired. Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Familiarity with relevant maintenance directives as specified in Air Force Instructions. Ability to foster relationships and build partnerships at all organizational levels within Lockheed Martin Corporation.

Proven capability in problem-solving and managing multiple projects effectively. Understanding of ISO 9001:2018/AS9100 quality standards and associated federal/state/local regulations.

Work Schedule Flexibility

Lockheed Martin offers a variety of alternative work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules may vary from a standard 40-hour work week to condensed formats, allowing for more time away from the office in addition to our Paid Time Off benefits.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range:

The annual base salary range for this position in certain states is $61,300 - $117,500. This information serves as a general guideline only.
