About the Job

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join the Lockheed Martin team as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our F-35 aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on F-35 aircraft, including inspections, servicing, repair, and overhaul.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and instructions to ensure accurate and efficient maintenance.
  • Participate in safety, tool control, FOD, supply, HAZMAT, training, quality, and security programs.
  • Use maintenance documentation systems, such as electronic maintenance instructions and aircraft forms documentation.
Requirements
  • Must have been previously awarded a 5 or 7 skill level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or Marine MOS discipline rating for weapons loading.
  • Experience with reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and instructions.
  • Experience with safety, tool control, FOD, supply, HAZMAT, training, quality, and security programs.
  • Experience with maintenance documentation systems.

  • F-35 maintenance experience.
  • Flight test experience.
  • Composite repair experience.
  • Low observable coating application experience.
  • Airframe and power-plant license.
  • Weapon loading experience.
  • Metal fabrication experience, including precision machining.

  • Able to conduct on-the-job training as required on multiple aircraft systems.
  • Ejection seat experience.
