About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Coding Quality Specialist to join our team at St. Luke's Health System. As a key member of our Revenue Cycle and Health Information Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of medical record documentation and coding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze medical record documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Investigate and resolve reimbursement denials related to coding and documentation issues.
  • Collaborate with department leadership to improve and maintain the efficiency and accuracy of the coding process.
  • Communicate complex coding issues and regulatory updates to department management and staff.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Health Information Management or related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in coding and medical record review.
  • Strong knowledge of coding regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
