Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector/Warehouse Employee to join our team on a long-term basis. The role involves completing quality checks on incoming parts and manufactured goods that are installed in a Southeast Boise warehouse. This individual will be the sole quality inspector on the team, working in a modified cleanroom setting to inspect packaging, labeling, and parts to ensure they meet our high standards. The position also includes light warehouse duties such as packaging, shipping, and receiving.

Responsibilities
  • Perform quality checks on incoming parts and manufactured goods.
  • Inspect packaging, labeling, and parts to ensure they meet standards.
  • Work in a modified cleanroom setting.
  • Utilize various hand tools to inspect manufactured goods.
  • Document data efficiently and navigate between multiple software systems.
  • Identify defects in various mechanical parts.
  • Perform light packaging, shipping, and receiving duties.
Essential Skills
  • Quality control experience.
  • Strong data entry and computer skills.
  • Experience with quality inspection.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
  • Warehouse experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and inventory management systems.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • High school diploma.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to stand all day.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Clean driving record preferred for potential warehouse/driving position.
  • Forklift, pallet jack, tractor, or combine operation experience preferred.

Work Environment

You will work in a small, recently refurbished, temperature-controlled warehouse. The QC Inspector will spend approximately 30% of the time in a temperature-controlled modified cleanroom area, referred to as a 'Clean Bench,' where a smock, hairnet/beardnet, and gloves are required to prevent contamination. The dress code includes steel toe boots above the ankle and general work clothes such as jeans, t-shirts, and sweatshirts. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7am to 3:30pm, with some flexibility to start at 8am.
