Position Overview

The Client Support Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service by assisting both internal and external clients, primarily in-person, to meet their branch and rental requirements. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain insights through comprehensive training and hands-on experience, providing administrative support, servicing clients, and acting as a rental backup in a significant home city branch or airport setting. This is a full-time role.

The starting compensation for this position is $18.00 per hour, in addition to performance bonuses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle incoming calls for reservations, rate inquiries, and general information, ensuring prompt and effective resolutions for customers, other branches, insurance firms, dealerships, repair shops, and vendors.
  • Manage outgoing calls for follow-ups, accounts receivable, and other assigned tasks.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service by assessing rental needs both in-person and over the phone.
  • Welcome customers in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Provide directions and general assistance as needed.
  • Assist in evaluating the condition of vehicles upon return.
  • Process vehicle returns, check-ins, and exit kiosk transactions efficiently.
  • Promote the company positively while transporting customers safely and courteously.
  • Communicate rental terms, vehicle features, and additional services effectively.
  • May offer optional protection products, upgrades, and additional equipment.
  • Notify management of any vehicle issues or required maintenance.
  • Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors as necessary.
  • Perform various administrative and basic accounting tasks, including billing support, accounts receivables, and report generation.
  • Carry out miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past three years.
  • No drug or alcohol-related convictions on driving record in the past three years.
  • Must have a minimum of twelve months of employment with the most recent employer.
