Job Overview:

The Advanced Practice Provider Leader is a key member of the University Hospitals team, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and promoting access and satisfaction. This role involves evaluating patients, ordering necessary tests and imaging, and determining if surgery is appropriate. The leader will also have their own clinical schedule and work with pre- and post-operative patients.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients to determine if surgery is necessary and order relevant tests and imaging.
  • Manage their own clinical schedule and collaborate with pre- and post-operative patients.
  • Foster positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of learning.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the hospital's mission and values.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and assign diagnoses based on recorded data and current research.
  • Develop and implement plans of care in accordance with established protocols and standards of care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients and families.

Salary and Benefits: $140,000 - $170,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program.
  • 1+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, computer proficiency, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
