The MetroHealth System is seeking a night shift Advanced Practice Provider to join its Division of Correctional Medicine at the Cuyahoga County Jail.

This challenging role requires a wide range of presentations in general and urgent care medicine, with a medically diverse and rewarding patient population.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduate of an accredited DNP or MSN Advanced Practice Registered Nurse program
  • Current RN and APRN license in the state of Ohio
  • Board Certification as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in specialty
  • Current BLS
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or obtains within first year of practice
  • Meets the requirements/qualifications for medical staff clinical privileges in the specialty/department within MetroHealth

Maintains a standard care arrangement with physician and renews as required by the Ohio Board of Nursing

Physician Assistant required credentials:

  • Graduate of an accredited Doctoral or MS Physician Assistant program
  • Current PA licensure in the State of Ohio
  • Board Certification as a Physician Assistant from NCCP
  • Current BLS
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or obtains within first year of practice
  • Meets the requirements/qualifications for medical staff clinical privileges in the specialty/department within MetroHealth

Maintains a supervision agreement with physician and renews as required by the Ohio Board of Medicine
