Job Summary

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Inpatient Cardiothoracic Surgery team at Parma Medical Center. As a key member of our surgical care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Perform patient assessments, assign diagnoses based on recorded data and current research, and develop plans of care in accordance with care paths, protocols, and standards of care.
  • Care Planning and Implementation: Establish plans of care, implement interventions, and collaborate with other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Diagnostics and Treatment: Order and perform routine diagnostic procedures, develop treatment plans, and monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.
  • Patient Education: Provide education to patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Liaison with Other Healthcare Professionals: Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
