About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our Palliative Care team at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. This part-time position involves working clinically with non-oncology patients on the inpatient consultation team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in APP experience, palliative care, geriatric, or hospice.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments and diagnose based on recorded data and current research.
  • Establish and implement care plans aligned with standards of care and research.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver high-quality care.
  • Order and perform routine diagnostic procedures.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Monitor therapeutic interventions' effectiveness.
  • Contribute to staff education and professional development.
  • Demonstrate leadership and effective management skills.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated competence as a practitioner.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Technical patient care devices specific to the clinical area.
  • Computers and selected office equipment.
Education/Expertise

Nurse Practitioner: Nursing Doctorate or Master of Science in Nursing with emphasis on clinical practice. Alternatively, Physician Assistant: Completion of a formal Physician Assistant training from an accredited program with NCCPA certification.
